Legal Aid seeks sponsors for anniversary event

Annual event honors community partners, pro bono volunteers, and staff members

Community Legal Aid is currently seeking sponsors for its annual fundraiser and anniversary celebration.

The event, which honors volunteer attorneys, staff members, and community partners, will feature a welcome address for Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor, and will also honor Akron Children’s Hospital.

“We are proud that all of the profit, 100%, generated through this event goes directly to our client and community programs,” shared communications & development director Maria Duvuvuei. “That means that those organizations who partner with us as sponsors can be sure that their support is being put to good use.”

In exchange for their support, event sponsors enjoy increased visibility and other perks, Duvuvuei explained.

“Of course, the biggest benefit is knowing you’re helping so many people in need,” she shared. “There’s no replacement for that feeling. But we also do offer promotional benefits to our event sponsors, including day-of signage at the event and promotion before and after the event, as well.”

Sponsorship levels

Legal Aid is offering several opportunities for businesses and organizations to get involved as sponsors. Each level comes with a number of tickets to the event and promotional advantages.

  • Supporter - $250
  • Counselor - $500
  • Advocate - $1,000
  • Defender - $2,500
  • Champion - $5,000
