Legal Aid offers free legal clinics, workshops and programs in February
Community Legal Aid is offering free workshops next month to those who may need legal assistance or have an interest in these legal topics. All programs are taught by attorneys and are free and open to the public.
All Community Legal Aid events can be found at www.communitylegalaid.org/events. Check back periodically, as more workshops may be added.

Legal Office Hours at Taft Promise Neighborhood (Youngstown) – Wednesday, Feb. 6, 9 a.m., 3025 South Avenue (corner of South and Boston), at the old Youngstown fire station. Free and open to Taft Promise Neighborhood residents. Meet with a Legal Aid attorney to discuss your legal needs and find out if you qualify for assistance. Custody Clinic: Learn How to Represent Yourself (Stark County) – Wednesday, Feb. 6. 1-3 p.m., Legal Aid’s Stark County Office, 306 Market Ave. N., Canton. Free and open to those who qualify, the clinic is designed to educate clients on the custody process and help them complete the required forms. Clients then represent themselves and manage their case from there. Cases must be agreed change of custody. Those interested must apply by calling the Legal Aid HelpLine at 800-998-9454.
Divorce Clinic: Learn how to represent yourself (Stark County) – Thursday, Feb. 7, 9 a.m., at held at Legal Aid’s Stark County Office, 306 Market Ave. N., Canton. Free and open to those who qualify, this clinic is designed to educate clients on the divorce process and help them complete the forms required to petition the court for a divorce.
